Experienced production worker foundry

To this end, Cast Iron is looking for a full-time production worker, with the following duties:

Qualitatively assembling supplied sand moulds to form the final casting.
Keeping the heart of the foundry running, by always having enough material ready for melting.
Directing your colleagues to manage the work together.

Experience in the foundry or construction industry
A passion for metals
Eye for detail
Interest in pursuing and improving quality
Good social skills
Sense of responsibility to make decisions
A good knowledge of the Dutch language

Job-related competences

Detach the print, check dimensions and surface condition and touch up or finish if necessary
Coordinate the activities of a team
Provide technical support to operators during pouring (checking filling, pouring, cooling, etc.)
Depositing a coating on casting surfaces (prints, cores, etc.)
Position and secure the parts and close the mould
